Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
TEAC P-9, built in 1981 in Japan, is a direct-drive fully automatic turntable weighing about 8.6 kg, in very good condition and tested and working, with no extras included.
Description from the seller
The TEAC P-9 is a vintage fully automatic direct-drive turntable introduced on the market in the early 1980s and was Teac's flagship model of the 9 series.
In my other auctions you will find for sale the other elements of the series: the A9 amplifier with the T9 tuner and the legendary V9 deck.
It is a high-precision model equipped with quartz control.
The turntable for sale shows light signs of wear, highlighted in the photos, which are an integral part of the description, but it still presents itself very well.
From a functional point of view the turntable is in excellent condition, all automatics operate correctly, all red lights come on, and the Stanton L725E cartridge, included in the sale, still has many hours of listening left.
The hood shows small marks that can be removed with polishing, the hinges are in excellent condition and easily support the weight.
Specifications of the Motor and Platter
Drive system: Direct drive with PLL quartz lock.
Motor: 2-pole, 2-phase DC coreless motor.
Platter: Made of die-cast aluminum alloy, 310 mm diameter.

Wow & Flutter: 0.045% WRMS.
