Mini Cooper S Cabriolet, year 2004, 1.6 litre petrol engine with 170 hp, manual transmission, grey metallic exterior, 201,060 km, located in the Netherlands and with German registration removed.
Description from the seller
Beautiful and well-running Mini Cooper S, from 2004, original 1.6 liter 16V engine with a supercharger (hence Cooper S), 170 hp and paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.
The R53 generation of the Mini Cooper S is one of the most reliable Mini generations from the BMW era, a 1.6 engine paired with a supercharger, a guarantee of reliability and consistent performance. The 2004-2007 generation benefited from very useful developments: a new Getrag gearbox with better gear shifting, a more reliable steering rack (addition of a steering cooler), a new 3-spoke steering wheel, and the addition of the glove compartment. Starts, runs, shifts and brakes well, like new.
Documents:
This Mini has a deregistered German registration. With the complete set of documents and the seller’s invoice, the car can be easily registered in its/new owner’s country if foreign.
Body:
This Convertible Cooper S has a beautiful, original dark gray metallic colour, which Mini aptly calls “Dark Silver.” As far as rust is concerned, this car is tidy. Some signs of use are present; see photos, minor damage on the right corner of the front bumper. The underside is also tidy, truly a neat car. See the photos.
Technical:
The Mini has not been used much in recent months, so a service is advisable before putting the car into use, then the air conditioning can also be topped up. The airbag light stays on, but this is not an MOT rejection point. It steers as well as the best, a wonderful car to drive. The car starts immediately, pulls well, shifts, steers and brakes fine.
Interior:
The car is equipped with a full leather interior, a leather sport steering wheel original to Mini, with steering wheel controls for cruise control. Air conditioning, electric windows and radio. The electric roof and windows work fine. Standard xenon lights, and neat light alloy wheels, see photo.
PICKUP:
The car is located in Hengevelde, Netherlands and can of course be picked up here or delivered at extra cost.
OTHER INFORMATION:
The car can be delivered at relatively low extra cost across the entire European Union (possibly worldwide) by a professional transporter.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
