Important specimen of Quartz characterized by a rich crystallization, with numerous prismatic crystals of very different sizes that develop on the matrix in multiple directions.
The larger crystals, well-formed and with defined terminations, dominate the sample and are accompanied by a dense growth of thinner elongated crystals that occupy the intermediate spaces, creating a complex and particularly pleasing ensemble to observe. The surfaces show the typical striations of Quartz, while several crystals display good transparency, particularly evident in the terminations, which allows the internal structure to be appreciated and creates interesting plays of light.
On the back and in some areas of the matrix there are also greenish mineralizations, which add a pleasant color contrast to the whole.
As visible in the photographs, some crystals show chipping or breakage at the terminations.
