Five-piece Japanese collection of porcelain and crystal items, including a hand-painted Satsuma porcelain sugar shaker with gilt details, two decorative wall plates, and a Hoya crystal plate (24% lead) designed by Takenhiko Yamamoto, dating to 1970–1980 and in good used condition.
Description from the seller
1- Vintage Satsuma Japanese porcelain sugar bowl with depictions of human figures, gilded handles and gold detailing. It features hand-painted decorations depicting geisha figures or traditional characters on a dark background with gold accents. Dimensions: 14 x 14 x 9 cm, height 12 cm; weight 280 g.
2- Of the same type, two decorative small plates with a hook; they can be hung on a wall or placed on a cabinet. Dimensions: 14 x 14 x 2.5 cm; weight 170 g.
3- Hoya crystal plate made in Japan, 24% lead. This very special plate from the Hoya company, designed by Takenhiko Yamamoto, was produced in a run of 12 pieces, one for each month. This November piece, No. 603, is a Japanese collectible plate whose production ended in 1990. Notably, it still bears the company seal. Excellent for collectors of original, hard-to-find items. In any case, it is very beautiful and will stand out with particular charm wherever it is displayed. Plate diameter 21 cm, thickness 2.5 cm; weight 800 g.
