Pair of vintage wall sconces by Ernst Palme (West Germany) from the 1970s, in gilt brass with faceted crystal, in Hollywood Regency floral style, model 1638/001, each measuring approximately 32 × 21 × 13 cm, in good condition.

You are bidding here on an elegant pair of vintage wall sconces by Ernst Palme, made in West Germany in the 1970s.
The sconces feature an elaborate floral design characteristic of the luxurious Hollywood Regency style, combining gold-tone metal with numerous faceted crystal glass elements.
Large flower-shaped compositions, decorative leaves and delicate crystal details give the lamps a particularly refined, jewel-like appearance.
The design is characteristic of the luxurious brass and crystal lighting associated with Ernst Palme and Palwa (Palme & Walter)during the 1960s and 1970s.
Both sconces retain their original Ernst Palme manufacturer labels, confirming the maker, model number and West German origin.

Peill & Putzler was one of Germany’s most respected glassworks and lighting manufacturers, dating back to 1903 when Peill & Sohn was founded in Düren. In 1947 it merged with Gebrüder Putzler, growing into a notable producer of high-quality glass lighting. Throughout its history, the company collaborated with renowned designers and won multiple design awards, embodying Bauhaus-inspired simplicity and craftsmanship. 
Peill & Putzler lamps are characterized by timeless design, excellent glasswork, and functional elegance — pieces that appeal to collectors and design enthusiasts alike.

Peill & Putzler is a historic German glassworks and lighting manufacturer originally founded through the merger of Peill & Sohn (est. 1903) and Gebrüder Putzler (est. 1869). It became one of Germany’s leading makers of glass lamps and fixtures, especially during the mid-20th century. The company collaborated with prominent designers (including Bauhaus-inspired figures) and produced lighting that combined functional modernism with elegant craftsmanship. Over the decades, Peill & Putzler lamps became emblematic of German design heritage and are now valued by collectors for their quality and style.
