You are bidding here on an elegant pair of vintage wall sconces by Ernst Palme, made in West Germany in the 1970s.

The sconces feature an elaborate floral design characteristic of the luxurious Hollywood Regency style, combining gold-tone metal with numerous faceted crystal glass elements.
Large flower-shaped compositions, decorative leaves and delicate crystal details give the lamps a particularly refined, jewel-like appearance.

The design is characteristic of the luxurious brass and crystal lighting associated with Ernst Palme and Palwa (Palme & Walter)during the 1960s and 1970s.

Both sconces retain their original Ernst Palme manufacturer labels, confirming the maker, model number and West German origin.

Peill & Putzler was one of Germany’s most respected glassworks and lighting manufacturers, dating back to 1903 when Peill & Sohn was founded in Düren. In 1947 it merged with Gebrüder Putzler, growing into a notable producer of high-quality glass lighting. The lamps will be properly prepared for the shipping ( mainly recycled materials ) and sent insured ( up to 500€ ).

According to EU law for courier companies, in any case of damage to an international shipment, the first step in obtaining compensation is for the RECIPIENT to report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receiving the shipment. Only then, after the RECIPENT ( you ) receives a certificate of damage, I as the sender can claim compensation.
In addition, the following photos will be required: the damage to the item, the outside of the box with the shipping label, and the inside of the box including the materials used to protect the shipment.
