Devotional Cross - 18th century, in white metal, handmade, finely chiselled and engraved.
The obverse presents a crucified Christ under the INRI cartouche.
At the foot of the Cross is a representation of Saint Mary Magdalene, recognizable by her pensive attitude and the small cross she holds in her hands.
The reverse is entirely decorated with symbols of the Passion of Christ and engraved Christian emblems, among which the fish (Ichthys) and various instruments of the Passion. The piece shows a beautiful old patina as well as the normal signs of use for a piece of this period.
No visible hallmark.
Good condition with age-related wear, original bail.
