Turned copper chandelier, with a baluster stem and wide circular base, intended for liturgical or religious domestic use.
It bears on the base an inscription engraved in Armenian, indicating presumably a votive dedication and a date corresponding to the very early 19th century (around 1801).
Armenian artisanal work from the Ottoman period, characteristic of the production of Christian communities in Anatolia and the Caucasus, where liturgical objects were often signed or dedicated.
Beautiful old patina, traces of use and oxidation consistent with the age.
No visible restoration.
Historically interesting object due to the presence of the Armenian inscription.
