Description from the seller
The Mercedes is located in Winnen, Germany!
GENERAL:
For sale is an extremely well-maintained Mercedes-Benz 320 SL (R129 model series) from January 1994 with an odometer reading of 156,300 kilometers. It is an accident-free, German vehicle with a complete service history and will be delivered with three original keys and its full onboard tools.
BODY & PAINT:
The bodywork is in flawless condition and completely free of rust, dents, or scratches. The car presents in its glossy original paint in a stylish gray-beige metallic finish. No welding work has been performed on the sheet metal. The rubber seals are supple all around and in perfect condition. The fabric top appears visually and technically perfect and absolutely tight. The included original hardtop in the car color has been hardly used and is in showroom-like condition.
TECHNIQUE:
Under the hood sits the sought-after 3.2-liter inline-six (M104) with four-valve technology, paired with a silk-smooth automatic transmission. The engine starts reliably when cold and warm, runs with a silky smooth operation, and does not leak oil. The brakes and transmission operate flawlessly. The car is fully roadworthy; there is no maintenance backlog.
About a year ago, the control unit, the throttle valve, and the motor wiring harness (electrical wiring loom), which is typically prone to failures for this age, were professionally renewed. The brake pads were replaced two years ago, and since then the SL has hardly been driven. An unused spare wheel is located in its place.
INTERIOR:
The interior is in an excellent condition, far above average for age, with only minimal, age-appropriate signs of wear. The seats are upholstered in original beige-brown leather, which feels elastic and shows no meaningful wear, and harmonizes perfectly with the noble gray-beige metallic exterior color.
DOCUMENTS:
The vehicle has German registration and all necessary vehicle documents. The history is transparently traceable through the existing and well-maintained service book. The main inspection (TÜV) was recently performed and is valid until April 2028. The current appraisal (grade 2+) is also available in written form.
PICKUP:
The Mercedes-Benz is located in Germany with postal code 56459 in Winnen (Westerwald) for viewing and pickup.
FURTHER INFORMATION:
This is a classic over 30 years old in collector condition. Despite the minimal, unavoidable signs of wear, the overall condition fully corresponds to the excellent assessment of the appraisal. Serious interested parties are warmly invited to inspect the vehicle on-site in advance.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
