Stool - Oak - Brutalist / Japandi

Brutalist / Japandi Oak wood with wedge joint. A beautifully designed and handcrafted wooden stool, executed in a robust Brutalist and Japandi style. The piece is entirely built from oak and excels with its traditional woodworking joints. The most striking feature is the sturdy crossbeam that runs through the angled legs and is held in place with characteristic wooden wedges (tusk tenon connection). This pin-and-groove construction not only provides a very stable and solid base, but also gives the stool a pure and honest constructive character. The top, carefully rounded, displays the natural, warm grain of the oak.

The underside reveals the authentic, artisanal construction of the piece. The legs are internally stabilized with wooden mounting blocks and screw connections. The absence of factory stamps or brand labels confirms the unique, handmade character of this artisanal studio furniture.
