Swing arm wall light - Cast brass

A distinctive vintage brass wall lamp with a sleek, geometric design. Probably dating from the 1950s-1960s. The lamp features a characteristic rectangular metal shade with angled sides and an adjustable arm, allowing the light to be directed as desired. The plate to which the lamp is mounted can also be detached from the lamp.

The shade has a dark, aged metal finish with warm bronze- and brass-toned hues. The arm, wall plate, and other metal details are finished in a brass-toned coating. The combination of the clean lines and the warm patina gives the lamp a pronounced vintage look. The lamp shows strong similarities with several wall lamps from the Artimeta program, particularly in terms of the characteristic adjustable arm and the specific metal wall mount. No brand or designer markings were found on the lamp itself. The attribution to Artimeta is therefore not certain.

The lamp is suitable for wall mounting and, thanks to its adjustable construction, can be used both functionally and decoratively, for example as a reading lamp, beside a bed, or as ambient lighting.

Condition:
The lamp is in used vintage condition, appropriate for the age and character of the object. There are visible signs of use, patina, discolorations, and damage to the metal surfaces. Some plastic has chipped off around the socket, probably from using hot bulbs, but this does not affect operation. These marks contribute to the authentic, lived-in look.
