An bracelet made from an early 19th-century silver book clasp.
The book clasp shows scenes from rural and maritime life. In the middle a shepherd with a flute and a lamb, at the sides a fisherman's wife who on one side waves a ship away and on the other looks out with binoculars at the approaching ship.

The bracelet is signed with the master mark 37JK in a square. This is by goldsmith-silversmith J. Kramer, of Dokkum. He was active between 1823 and 1843.

Een armband gemaakt van een vroeg 19e eeuws zilveren boekslot. 
Het boekslot toont scènes uit het land- en zeeleven. In het midden een herder met fluit en schaapje, aan de zijkanten een vissersvrouw die aan de ene kant een schip uitzwaait en aan de andere kant met een verrekijker naar het aankomende schip uitkijkt.

De armband is gesigneerd met meesterteken 37JK in vierkant. Dit is van edelsmid J. Kramer, Dokkum. Deze was werkzaam tussen 1823 en 1843.
