IRAQ. Baghdad. 25 Fils. 1959.
- Value: 25 Fils.
- Year: 1959.
- Inscriptions: Front: الجمهورية العراقية · ٢٥ فلساً · ١٣٧٩ - ١٩٥٩ with the facial value in the center surrounded by legends of the Republic of Iraq and a lower vegetal crown. Back: republican emblem with radiant star, central ear of corn, and Arabic legends around.
- Grade: MS63 (NGC).
Coin of 25 Fils of the Republic of Iraq belonging to the first series issued after the proclamation of the republic in 1958. The obverse features the value 25 Fils dentro a central circle, accompanied by Arabic inscriptions and a laurel crown that provides balance to the design. The reverse shows the Iraqi republican emblem formed by a multi-pointed solar star with the central ear of corn as a symbol of agriculture and national prosperity. The specimen with very well-defined relief, fields with original luster and an attractive silver patina with natural light gold tones, preserving a notable visual quality in line with its MS63 (NGC) grade.
