Commemorative 20 Złotych coin of the People's Republic of Poland dedicated to the Barbican of Kraków, one of the most representative medieval defensive structures in the country. The reverse shows a detailed architectural depiction of the Gothic fortress, with towers and defensive elements rendered by a precise and deeply engraved relief. The obverse presents the national Polish eagle alongside the face value 20 Złotych, following the institutional style characteristic of the socialist era. An example in proof quality, with strong contrast CAMEO between frosted reliefs and dark mirror fields, excellent definition of details and minimal signs of contact, in keeping with the high grade PF67 CAMEO (NGC).
