Bust, IMPERATOR VESPASIANUS - 33 cm - Bronze, Polymer marble

Decorative bust of Roman Emperor Vespasian (Titus Flavius Vespasianus), founder of the Flavian dynasty and Roman Emperor from AD 69 to 79.

The bust features a finely detailed classical portrait with an antique-style patinated finish and is mounted on an elegant light-coloured pedestal. The front is decorated with a Roman eagle emblem and a metal plaque inscribed “IMPERATOR VESPASIANUS ·69–79”. The bust bears an “AF” maker’s mark within a circle on the reverse.

A substantial and highly decorative piece, weighing almost 3 kg, inspired by classical Roman imperial portraiture. It forms part of a collection of Roman Emperor sculptures; other emperors from the same collection are also available in my profile.
