Art Deco Tango glass vase by Loetz, Czech origin, attributed to designer Michael Powolny, circa 1910–1920, multicolour glass with height 27.5 cm, width 10 cm and depth 27.5 cm, weight 300 g, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
1/ Art deco vase style Tango glass, attributed to the Czech glass factory Loetz (Johann Loetz Witwe and designer Michael Powolny. Layered monochrome glass bright red combined with black rim on the neck and black foot. Glass undamaged. Height: 24 cm
2/ Art deco Vase style Tango is made of bright red to orange opal glass, which is complemented by a plastic black sticker in the shape of a coiled snake around the neck and black glass stickers on the lower bulbous part. Glass undamaged. Height: 15.5 cm
3/ Vase style Tango is made of clear glass underlaid with a distinctive sapphire blue color. A characteristic feature of this style is the contrasting rim on the upper edge and a dark ring-shaped olive on the foot made of black glass. Probably designed by designer Michael Powolny around 1914. Height: 27.5 cm. Minimal damage see photo number 8 and 9
