A pair of Chinese decorative miniature bonsai trees in cloisonné enamel planters, carved from agate and other minerals (quartz and onyx) with green, pink and orange tones, dating from 1940–1950 in the Art Nouveau/Arts & Crafts style, titled "Chinese miniature trees", each planter measuring 16.5 cm high, 12 cm wide and 4 cm deep, total weight 150 g, in excellent condition and originating from China.

Chinese decorative miniature bonsai trees (flower arrangements) made from carved ornamental stones and minerals in cloisonné enamel planters. Such pieces were traditionally created by Chinese artisans in the 20th century (sometimes in imitation of earlier periods) from semi-precious gemstones. Materials and Craftsmanship: Flowers and buds: carved from semi-precious stones and minerals (including quartz, agate, jade, or soapstone). Leaves and branches: carved from dark stone (jade or sodalite) on a wire frame. Planters (pots): made using the traditional Eastern technique of cloisonné (cloisonné enamel on metal with a floral pattern).
