Vintage/antique necklace made from authentic Mediterranean Red Coral (Corallium rubrum), historically known as Sardinian coral.
The jewelry features a refined graduated threading with intermediate security knots between each individual pearl. The classic craftsmanship highlights the strong size contrast between the delicate pearls near the clasp and the substantial central spheres, testament to Italian traditional goldsmithing from the first half of the 20th century.
