Canton Plus XL.3 — compact satellite speakers from the top brand Canton

A nice little set of compact speakers from the renowned German brand Canton, part of the well-known Plus series. The Plus XL.3 is the largest model in this series and combines a sleek, timeless design with surprisingly solid sound for its size.

Under the hood sits a 130 mm aluminum woofer together with a 25 mm aluminum-manganese tweeter, good for a nominal power handling of 60 watts and a peak power of 120 watts at an impedance of 8 ohms. The frequency response runs from 40 to 30,000 Hz, with a sensitivity of 88 dB, so they are easily driven by virtually any amplifier.

Thanks to their compact dimensions of 150 x 155 x 235 mm and a weight of only 2.1 kg each, they can be placed anywhere or mounted, including the included wall brackets. Ideal as a stereo set in a smaller room, as surround speakers in a home theater, or simply as a background-music solution with real hi-fi quality.
