Description from the seller
Mercedes 200 Te Automatic.
The car is truly in superb condition for its mileage. It belonged to a long-time dealer who used it as a second car, and it has been constantly serviced and maintained over time within the official network. There are countless serviced records, all done at Mercedes, and overall the vehicle is really in excellent condition.
Externally, time has left its mark on the bodywork. On the left side there are the classic scratches from a tree branch that have been covered in a somewhat rough manner. The lower front and rear areas also show signs of wear from the elements, and from the fact that the car wasn’t always parked indoors but was often stored outdoors. Despite this, both the mechanicals and the chassis hide, wonderfully, all the miles the car has. It should be noted that the windscreen wipers are missing and the left front indicator glass is slightly damaged but the mechanism works.
The engine runs like a violin. It starts with half a turn of the key and has no trace of any leak. This is one of the Mercedes examples with the most official maintenance we have had the chance to deal with.
The interior is in excellent condition and is the original Mercedes interior (they are perceptible to the touch for their robustness) and are still very comfortable and not at all damaged by time. Except for a small plastic square that surrounds the electric mirror adjustment buttons on the driver's door, the car is immaculate. Nothing missing or nonfunctional. The door panels are excellent, the ashtrays pristine. Even the air conditioning works well. The car also has a sunroof. Notable features include the presence of a cargo partition and the sliding floor mat, which is usually absent on this type of car.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
