Description from the seller

There are 6 water glasses and 4 stemmed wine glasses in antique Art Deco style. They exhibit a characteristic bright green fluorescence under a 365 nm UV lamp and also under 395 nm, indicating that they contain uranium glass, also called uraline (attributed, for example, to productions of Verreries Doyen).

Made in Belgium by Verreries Doyen during the Art Deco period (1920s-1930s). All the glasses are in perfect condition, with no chips or cracks.

Designed in mouth-blown glass with a transparent bowl and a thick stem with emerald-green/uranium-coloured rings or ribs.
