Standard trade weights (15) Antique - Netherlands - 1800-1850

Beautiful, very heavy weight block, an antique from 1844 from the firm "De Gaper" in the Netherlands. The block is made of beech/oak ?? and weighs, including the weights, no less than 4487 grams (almost 5 kilograms). Inside the block are 14 weights increasing from 1 gram up to and including a full 2 kg. The weights are equipped with hundreds of calibration/marking marks (on the 2 kg alone more than 50), as clearly visible in the many photos. A beautiful and nicely complete object (which is remarkable for such an old block); it is carefully packed and shipped insured. Further info/details see photos.
