Technics SP-15 Direct-Drive Turntable – Original Plinth, Smoked Lid & Ortofon RS-212 Tonearm
A superb vintage Technics SP-15 professional direct-drive turntable, supplied with its original Technics plinth SH15B1 and original smoked/smokey dust cover lid. A highly regarded broadcast-quality deck, the SP-15 is renowned for its exceptional speed stability, powerful torque and superb engineering.
The turntable is fitted with a vintage period correct Ortofon RS-212 tonearm, a sought-after high-quality vintage arm (pleasesee photographs for a pictureof the factory brochure), complete with an Audio-Technica “cheese-grater” style headshell.

A particularly attractive and authentic vintage combination with the original Technics plinth and smoked lid, complemented by the excellent Ortofon RS-212 tonearm.
An excellent choice for both the serious vinyl enthusiast and collector of classic professional audio equipment. Please see the detailed photographs supplied as they form par of tve description and therefore part of the sale, any idiosyncrasies not mentioned are not done in malice. Here are a few minor issues that i feel should be mentioned. There is some mild circular scratches on the platter paint,the tonearm is supplied without a rca cable there is a cartridge on the headshell but no stylus. I will try and sort something out for you once the deal is finalized regarding the stylus and cartridge as a gift from us to you.
Please be aware that no vintage electronics are garanteed due to age however a video of the turntable keeping speed can be provided at stage. She runs beautifully. Please also note that the sale will be considered final at payment stage and will not be retunable or refundable due to previous unscrupulous buyers/collectors.
This is a large heavy piece of audio history and we pack with a passion to protect such items, please note that we use a custom packing system too so please understand great is not cheap.
