Description from the seller
Monumental and exceptionally decorative French Art Nouveau chandelier from the Belle Époque, dating from circa 1900–1915.
This imposing chandelier is crafted from richly decorated patinated bronze and features an original alabaster bowl with beautiful natural veining. The graceful design is enhanced by four finely modeled putti (cherubs), elegant acanthus leaves, original colored glass grape clusters, and flower-shaped glass shades, characteristic of French Art Nouveau.
The warm appearance of the alabaster combined with the refined bronze ornaments creates a particularly atmospheric light. Thanks to its monumental dimensions and rich decoration, this chandelier forms an impressive centerpiece in a classic, historic, or eclectic interior.
