Collection of 5 antique linen towels of the highest quality, dating from the early 20th century (Umbertine/Liberty era) and belonging to a prestigious Italian aristocratic household. All pieces are in exceptional condition, pristine and never used.

The Strong Piece: Large Matrimonial Bath Towel in Damask Linen 100% Fine Damask Linen (Fiandra) pure white, characterized by a refined relief weave with a geometric zig-zag motif (splendid glossy-matt effect) and with embroidery: a substantial band (34 x 10 cm) entirely handmade in cross-stitch with floral and botanical motifs in vivid era tones (red, green, azure, yellow). The back of the embroidery is perfectly neat and straight, free of knots, testimony to artisanal craftsmanship of another era. Short edges enriched with rich, intricately interwoven and hand-tied fringes. Dimensions: 110 x 60 cm (excluding fringes). Washed but never used.

2. The Coordinated Set: 4 Guest Towels Square, Hand-Woven
Pure 100% Linen fabric, aged yarn and woven on a domestic hand loom. The fabric presents the fresh, substantial texture and the fascinating micro- irregularities typical of vintage natural fibers. Natural warm white color. Finishes: ends hand-finished with dense, delightful small fringes, directly derived from the original warp deduced from the loom.
Dimensions: 61 x 61 cm each (a rare, versatile square size, ideal as guest washcloth or decorative element). Conditions like-new, warehouse floor untouched.
