RVS Verzekeringen was a Dutch insurance company, whose predecessor was founded in 1838; the abbreviation RVS stands for Rotterdam Insurance Society. In 2011 RVS merged into Nationale-Nederlanden to reach a larger audience. For most of the 19th century, RVS was based at Westerstraat 3 in Rotterdam. In the early 1990s, RVS moved into the new Nationale Nederlanden building (Delftse Poort), in the smaller of the two towers. In 1995, after the merger with Victoria Vesta, most of the staff relocated to the Victoria Vesta building in Ede in the province of Gelderland.
