Frame - Gold leaf

A fabulous antique wooden frame finely hand-carved, covered in gold leaf and with finishes painted in cobalt blue. Rich decorations with foliate volute motifs on the interior and guilloché work on the outer edges. A rare and magnificent example of artesanal cabinetmaking from the early 20th century, of great quality and Italian elegance. Some light and normal signs of age visible in the photos. Very fascinating and in good condition.
