Sony - WM-DD33 DD Quartz Walkman

For sale: a Sony WM-DD33 DD Quartz Walkman, one of the better-known models from Sony's iconic DD series.

The Walkman is in neat used condition with normal signs of wear appropriate for its age.

In the last test last summer it seemed to work well and played cassette tapes neatly. Since then it has not been used.

The WM-DD33 features Sony's Quartz Disc Drive (DD) mechanism. Unlike many other Walkmans, the capstan is driven directly, which ensures a very stable tape speed and a low wow & flutter. This is part of why the DD series is renowned for its excellent audio quality and has earned a true cult status among collectors and enthusiasts.
