## 1. Description
Up for auction is a vintage SONY MZ-R90 Portable MiniDisc Recorder in premium Silver, originally released in 1999. Crafted in Japan, this iconic Walkman features a high-end press-forged magnesium alloy body, celebrated as one of the smallest and lightest flagship MD recorders of its era.
This particular unit comes as a beautiful collector’s set with a verified historical provenance—complete with the original warranty card stamped by the famous (and now historical) Japanese electronics retailer "Sakuraya" in Ikebukuro, dated July 2000.
Condition & Operation:

* Operation: Fully tested and 100% working. Both playback and recording function perfectly with excellent sound quality. The buttons and mechanism react smoothly.
* Cosmetic: Excellent vintage condition. The silver magnesium body has been very well preserved with only minor, typical signs of age. The LCD screen on the remote control is crisp and clear. Please refer to the photos for detailed close-ups.

Note: A rechargeable gumstick battery (NH-14WM) or 3V AC adapter is required for standalone main-unit power, but you can immediately power and enjoy the unit using the included external AA battery side-car attachment.
