This is a rare Chinese 1-Yuan brass coin “Panda” (minted from 1983 to 1985, including 1983 or 1984), regarded as an early precursor of the well-known precious-metal Panda series.

Motif: A sitting Giant Panda with a bamboo twig inside an octagon as well as the denomination “壹圆” (1 Yuan)

Condition: Good, see photo (obverse slightly oxidized on the rim)
