Antique French Art Nouveau serving tray or fruit bowl designed by the Parisian artists Alice and Eugene Chanal (signed as A.E. Chanal) around 1900. The piece is made of hammered tin and features an organic design in the shape of water lily leaves with a graceful, twisted handle.

Unique Technique: Unlike many other tin objects from that era that were cast in large factories from molds, Chanal's pieces were entirely hand-forged and hammered (repoussé or hand-wrought) in their own studio. Each piece is therefore unique.
