A decorative collection of 10 Chinese-style copper enamel objects, comprising a pair of floral plates, two lidded jars, a bowl, a covered box, a three-rest ashtray, a square dish, an oval bird-and-flower dish and a rectangular dish.

All pieces are made on a copper body and decorated with coloured enamel, with fine metal wires outlining floral, botanical, bird and traditional ornamental motifs. The collection features a rich palette of blue, turquoise, green, red, white and yellow, with many of the pieces highlighted by fine gold-coloured metal outlines.

The pair of blue-green floral plates is densely decorated with elaborate floral compositions in various shades of blue, turquoise and green. The blue lidded jar features flowering branches and bird decoration against a deep cobalt-blue ground, while the red lidded jar is decorated with colourful floral motifs in turquoise, green, orange and other enamel colours.

The group further includes an oval bird-and-flower dish, a white-ground square floral dish, a green rectangular dish, a floral covered box and a small three-rest ashtray. Each object has its own individual shape, colouring and decorative character.

An attractive and varied group suitable for a collection of copper enamel objects, Asian decorative arts or as colourful vintage interior decoration.

Condition:

These are vintage objects and the condition varies from piece to piece. Age-related and normal signs of use are present.

These may include surface wear, light scratches, oxidation and wear to the metal edges, enamel wear or losses, small knocks and other traces consistent with age. The green rectangular dish in particular shows more noticeable areas of enamel loss. Please refer carefully to the detailed photographs for the exact condition of each individual piece.
