A collectible vintage paperweight by internationally renowned Greek designer Ilias Lalaounis. It features a raised sterling silver 925 medallion mounted within a substantial circular brass body.
Inspired by an ancient Syracusan coin, the design depicts the profile of Arethusa surrounded by four dolphins and ancient Greek lettering. Clearly marked “LALAOUNIS” and “925”. The underside is finished with protective felt.
Presented in good vintage condition
