Table lamp - Glass, Steel - Industrial style design

Bulky table lamp with a strong, modern, and industrial character. This piece stands out for its very simple, linear design and a material-driven look. It was presumably produced in Italy around the 1970s and kept in excellent condition, thanks also to the steel and glass it is made of, which hold up well over time.
The exterior structure is a cylinder in brushed stainless steel, which gives the lamp a robust, contemporary appearance (see photo of surface details).
The central, distinctive element is visible through an opening formed by two elongated ovals placed on the side and the top, which is open. Inside, protected by a massive transparent glass enclosure, is the red plastic structure of the bulb holder. When it is on, the lamp emits a warm, atmospheric light that passes through the two side ovals and the top opening.
Another design detail is the satin horizontal light ring located just above the base, creating a pleasant “floating” effect. The base is solid and features a flared shape in polished metal.
The steel structure can be detached from the glass, and if desired can be removed, leaving the lamp open and producing a more subdued ambient effect or a much brighter one.
The lamp is made of solid steel and glass; although not very heavy, it has a very stable base.

The lamp is equipped with a white power cord with a standard ON/OFF switch, and the bulb uses a small screw-in base.
It has been tested and is perfectly functional.
