Dining table with 4 chairs in the style of Ico Parisi - Mid Century

A refined and exceptional Italian artisanal dining set dating from the early 1950s, consisting of a sculptural table and 4 matching chairs.

The table features a majestic lyre-shaped base in light-toned carved wood, adorned in the center with characteristic dark metal tie-rods, an iconic element of postwar Italian design. The shaped top offers a smooth and elegant line.

The four matching chairs feature a goblet-shaped, raised central backrest and tapered conical legs. They retain the original hazelnut faux leather upholstery and padding.

The condition is good: one leg of the table has been reassembled and the upholstery of only one of the four chairs has stains. Both issues are clearly shown in the photos. Structurally solid, both the table and the chairs are ready to use.
