Antique wall/table clock from France, dating to 1880–1920, with a wooden case and brass components, mechanical movement with an eight‑day power reserve, half‑hour striking with a single gong, and a winding key included; dimensions 49 cm high by 46.5 cm wide by 13.5 cm deep, weight 6 kg, in good condition and in working order.

Old wall/table clock of French origin, dating from the second half of the 19th century (circa 1860-1890, Napoleon III period).
Main features:
Dial: Made of light alabaster/marble with natural veining, enhanced by 12 shaped porcelain/enamel cartouches with black Roman numerals and gilded brass frames.
Case: In dark solid wood with period metal hinges for closing the lid.
Mechanism and accessories: Equipped with a coil gong for the strike mounted on a brass plate, original pendulum with a circular brass lens and butterfly winding key included.
Conditions, Damage and Restorations:
Status: Good general cosmetic condition considering age. The wood and the stone and metal components show an original patina of time.
Damage/Wear: Light surface wear on the wooden case and slight traces of oxidation on the brass/metal parts, consistent with the period. The dial shows the natural veining of the stone (no structural cracks).
