Old Gebruder Kuhnlenz doll, circa 1900-1910, porcelain head, marked with a sun and 44-30 Dep Gbk.
Height 60 cm.
Head, bisque porcelain, fixed eyes, open mouth, with visible teeth.
Articulated body in wood and composite. Ball joints.
The doll was fully restored by a specialist in 2004, and has been very little exposed since.
The clothes were handmade at that time.
The dress is made of wild silk; the undergarments were made from antique fabric with embroidery and old lace.
The shoes are leather, French-made.
The wig is real hair, French-made.
The socks are made from Scottish thread.
