Vintage wooden sewing chest / sewing cabinet on legs – fold-out harmonica system
Description
A particularly vintage wooden sewing piece with an elegant and practical fold-out system.
The furniture stands on four elegantly curved legs and features a tall carrying handle.
On both sides there are multiple storage compartments that can be opened stepwise using wooden hinge arms. This creates surprisingly a lot of space for sewing notions, thread, handicraft supplies, or other small collectibles.
The warm wood, the dark connecting arms, and the graceful design give the piece a charming vintage appearance. Even when closed it is a decorative object that sits nicely in both a classic and an eclectic interior.
The piece is in used vintage condition with clear, authentic signs of wear and patina appropriate to its age. There are, among other things, small scratches, discolorations, spots and signs of aging visible. These have deliberately not been hidden and are clearly shown in the photos. The interior compartments also show normal signs of use.
The photos are an important part of the description and give a good view of the condition, construction, and patina.
