Description from the seller
The Minolta A5 is a 35mm rangefinder camera introduced in 1960 by the historic Japanese company Chiyoda Kōgaku Seikō (later known as Minolta). It is the last fully mechanical model without an integrated light meter in the famous A series, appreciated by collectors and lovers of analog photography for its exceptional ruggedness, clean lines, and excellent ergonomics.
Type of camera: Fixed-lens rangefinder. Film format: Standard 35mm (135 film). Power: Fully mechanical, does not require batteries to operate. Light meter: Absent; exposure must be calculated manually using an external light meter or with the Sunny 16 rule. Viewfinder: Large and bright, with a coupled rangefinder for superimposed image and frame lines for composition. Advance: Manual lever with a manual frame counter on the top plate.
