Authentic Moorcroft Pottery vase from England by Walter Moorcroft.
Pattern Columbine Leaf and Berry highly sought after.
Moorcroft 1990-2000; founder William Moorcroft.
Signature initials WM painted in green under the base along with stamp printed MOORCROFT MADE IN ENGLAND and a diamond mark.
Date circa 1990.
Trumpet-shaped pedestal vase with an inverted neck and broad, tall, slender form.
Height 28.5 cm, measured with a tape measure; photo provided.
Opening 8.5 cm in diameter.
Tube-lined decoration hand-painted with starry leaves at the top in blue flambé that shifts to violet depending on light; stylised trees at the bottom with cream pink buttons on a pale pink and green background.
Technique: tube-lined, flambé enamel with the characteristic brilliant finish of Walter Moorcroft.
Material: glazed earthenware.
Condition: good vintage condition with no chips or hairline cracks; light soiling from use at the foot under the base; colors vivid; glaze bright.
Provenance: former private Belgian collection, Montpellier.
