The semi-circular or “C”-shaped grip (known in English as a crook handle) is a very classic design of the Victorian and Edwardian era, in the Art Deco style, widely used by the bourgeoisie of the time.
The shaft is made of darkened or EBONIZED noble wood, a finish very popular during this period to denote distinction in urban strolls.
