Description from the seller
Original Wehle Art Deco mantel clock – Germany, 1940s – Perfectly functioning
An elegant Wehle mantel clock is offered, an authentic expression of German watchmaking excellence. Made in the historic town of Furtwangen, in the heart of the Black Forest, it comes from one of the world’s most renowned areas for mechanical clock production.
Datable to the late thirties to the early forties, this clock represents a refined example of Art Deco style, featuring a wooden case with harmonious lines, the original dial with stylized numerals, and the elegant openwork hands.
The movement is manual-winding mechanical, with an autonomy of about eight days, equipped with a strike on the hours and half hours and a power-reserve indicator, a prestigious technical solution that testifies to the high build quality of the Wehle manufactory.

This clock is much more than a simple timepiece: it is a testament to German clockmaking art of the twentieth century. Built in an era when precision, material quality, and durability were fundamental values, it still preserves today all the charm and elegance of Black Forest artisanal production.
Ideal for collectors, vintage clock enthusiasts, or anyone wishing to embellish their surroundings with an authentic historical object. The combination of refined Art Deco design, perfect mechanical efficiency, and excellent state of conservation makes this Wehle mantel clock a piece of great charm, increasingly hard to find in such original and perfectly functioning condition.
