Offered here is the Sony STR-6055, a beautiful vintage AM/FM stereo receiver introduced in 1971 and produced during the early 1970s, approximately 1971-1974. This model comes from Sony’s golden era of Japanese hi-fi engineering, when receivers were built with heavy metal construction, elegant analogue tuning displays, solid amplifier sections, and a warm, detailed sound character.
The STR-6055 combines a powerful stereo amplifier with an FM/MW tuner, making it a complete centrepiece for a classic hi-fi system.
