Cane - Walking stick - w/ monogram - White Metal - Victorian

A late 19th century walking cane, the black wooden shaft surmounted by an ornate white-metal pommel finely embossed with scrolling floral decoration. The circular top is centred by an elegant engraved script monogram, the raised floral border displaying attractive depth and detail. Fitted with a wrist cord and terminal.

The cane presents well, with an attractive aged patina to the metal. Surface wear, light scratches and minor marks consistent with age and use. Wear to the shaft and wrist cord as shown in the photographs.
