CELESTIAL GLOBE and a LONDON LIBRARY by George Philip & Son Ltd in London. Both 6 inches

The globes are complete and original! Only here and there a bit worn by the wear of time. Light craquelé. No troublesome defects.

The diameter is 6 inches and the height is 19 cm. The globe stands tilted according to the declination placed on a simple metal stand.
On the 'Celestial' example the stars and constellations are indicated. The stars in their various magnitudes drawn and possibly connected with lines where it concerns constellations.

The whole looks good. Everything visible in the photos.

Beautiful piece for decoration of nearly every room in any interior. Quite rare, therefore a great opportunity.

De globes zijn compleet en origineel! Slechts hier en daar wat aangedaan door de tand des tijds. Lichte craquelé. Geen storende gebreken.

De diameter is 6 inch en de hoogte is 19 cm. Globes staat schuin volgens de declinatie geplaatst op een eenvoudige metalen standaard.
Op het 'Celestial' exemplaar zijn de sterren en sterrenbeelden aangegeven. De sterren in hun verschillende magnitudes getekend en eventueel met lijntjes verbonden waar het sterrenbeelden betreft.

Het geheel er goed uit. Alles op de foto's te zien.

De foto's zijn wezenlijk onderdeel van de beschrijving.

Mooi exemplaar ter decoratie van nagenoeg elke ruimte in elk interieur. Redelijk zeldzaam, dus een buitenkansje.
