Sony - ICR-4800 Portable radio

This Sony ICR-4800 is a collector's item, especially as one of the very first ultra-compact "world receivers" with analog tuning, designed specifically for travelers.
A small model, extremely compact for its time. A collector's item because this radio at the time was a technological tour de force in miniaturization; today it is a beloved collector's item among vintage electronics enthusiasts.
Reception on MW and 5 shortwave bands. Surprisingly good reception on MW and on shortwave, particularly in the evening!
The radio is in very good condition and still functions well: a well-functioning signal, no crackling volume control (the knob on the upper left)
Has a headphone jack.
