A brass desk clock by Kienzle in Art Deco/Bauhaus style, circa 1930–1940, with a mechanical eight-day movement, no striking, original winding key, in good condition and in working order; height 24 cm, dial diameter 21.5 cm, depth 8 cm, weight 2.3 kg.

Splendid and rare vintage Art Déco / Bauhaus-style table clock, designed by the renowned German designer Heinrich Möller for the historic manufacturer Kienzle in the 1930s/40s. A true piece of European design history, characterized by the iconic semi-transparent Mystery dial. The clock features a solid and heavy circular brass/bronze structure supported by a fixed oval base. The black outer bezel is elegantly engraved with gilded Roman numerals. In the center, the geometric flat hands stand out and the original cursive Kienzle signature on the brushed disc. Conditions and Operation: Mechanism: Original Kienzle 8-day movement. The clock is fully functioning and running smoothly. Aesthetic: Excellent vintage condition. The central glass is perfectly intact, with no cracks or chips. The brass retains its magnificent patina and natural time-induced oxidation, certifying its authenticity and historical charm. Original winding key integrated on the back.
