'A Frenchman with an American taste'

Isobloc, a former French bus brand, disappeared in the late fifties. It was taken over by Sylvain Floriat, who merged with SAVIEM through SACA.

With 33 seats and a length of 9.34 meters, this bus, with a tare weight of 5,800 kg, was an easy-to-manoeuvre coach in the 1950s.

After the liberation, production was successfully started up. A total of 352 units of the Isobloc 648 DP were built, spread over the three calendar years 1952 through 1954.
