Exceptional piece of cabinetmaking from the first half of the 20th century with refined kidney-shaped curved design.

Cabinetmaking and finishes: Crafted with striking root veneer and fine filet work in light marquetry on the top surface, the drawer front, and the side doors.

Layout: Central drawer with handcrafted dovetail joint and two side cupboards with curved doors, original brass hardware and pulls.

Supports: Stylized fluted/turned legs with bronze protective ferrules (sabots) at the bases.

Versatility: Works perfectly as a bedroom vanity, an elegant hallway console, or as a formal auxiliary desk.

Condition: Excellent structural solidity. Retains its original varnish and patina, with light signs of use on the top surface in keeping with its age.
