Description from the seller
This impressive Art Deco pendulum clock, Amsterdam School style, dates from the period 1920-1930.
The face of this clock consists of a copper/brass dial, which is framed like a painting in a moulding, and the beautifully designed original hands in Art Deco style form a nice contrast with the copper-brass numerals against the dark background.
The perfectly finished clock case is made of solid oak, with oval decorations on the front corners in coromandel wood.
The original movement, a German clock movement, runs excellently and where necessary is oiled and is adjusted level.
The three-tone Bim Bam strike sounds on every half and full hour.
This Amsterdam School clock in this condition is rarely found and is an eye-catcher in any type of interior.
Including a key, the clock is carefully packaged and shipped to European countries only, with the exception of England.
