Description from the seller
Splendid fossil claw of Spinosaurus.
Originating from the renowned fossil beds of the Kem Kem Basin, in southeastern Morocco. Dated to the Late Cretaceous (Cenomanian), about 95–100 million years ago, this specimen bears witness to the presence of one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs ever to exist.
The specimen is well preserved and displays the typical natural coloration of Kem Kem fossils. There are some cracks of natural origin, carefully stabilized, repaired and filled during restoration, a common intervention for fossils from this geological formation. The restoration aims to preserve the structural integrity of the specimen while keeping its overall appearance unchanged.
An authentic piece with a strong visual impact, ideal for fossil collectors, dinosaur enthusiasts, museums, exhibitions, or as a distinctive element in a paleontology collection.
